MTV TRAILBLAZER AWARD EMMA WATSON

The MTV Trailblazer Award returns for a second year to highlight a phenomenal young talent in the biz. The award is given to an actor who, despitetheir age, has managed to inspire others with a diverse portfolio of work and a transcendent reputation in the public eye. The second annual celebratory statue will be presented to the wand – wielding, scene – stealing Emma Watson. Though we’ve been watching Miss 
Watson on the silver screen for a while now, it’s only recently that the star has begun to fully stretch her wings. Failling in love with the frizzy hair and ferocious study habits of her perpect Harmione Granger, we followed the wild adventures and expecto patronums of Emma as she grew from a sweet faced preteen to the fully famous star of all eight “Harry Potter” films.

Some young actresses might retire after such a series, but Emma pushed foward, challenging herself in unexpected roles and charming critics along the way. There was Lucy, the wardrobe assistant in “My Week With Marilyn”, and the candid and conscientious Sam in “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower”. Up next, she will turn heads in Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring” as a fame – obsessed Los Angeles bad girl. Her ability to switch from a book worm beginner to a badass burglar is one of the reasons that Emma has been nominated for 11 MTV Movie Award already, three of which she’s up for this year.

Emma Watson has been blazing a trail for ovre ten year already and she’s just warming up. Watch her accept the award at 2013 MTV Movie Award, live on April 14.
